ethan is backsliding with sleep and is getting drooly. teeth at 12 weeks too early? typing left handed so short post. found interesting book on cognitive development called the wonder weeks. dumbed down but still useful for it's identification of cognitive growth spurts which do not always coincide with physical ones. ethan very clearly in one now.

hey vern,
aidan started that hyper-drooly phase around the same time that ethan appears to be. it does subside. i read that, while baby teeth don't usually come in until month 6-7, babies will begin showing pre-teething signs, including drooling and, ikes, irritation. so your instinct is spot on.
i did read that growth spurts can be both physical and mental. aidan had what seemed like a growth spurt (lots of eating, very little sleeping) right around the time he began beign able to recognize our faces. they can be taxing, but also very cool because it means your little guy is tearing through those little milestones.

it does. typing left handed most of the time while ethan sleeps in lap. shorthand is impt!
